Tell us about your journey at Extra Space Storage.

I was originally hired as a software engineer for the Breeze development team. This position involved writing code for the database (SQL), Store POS & Rental Management systems software backend (C#/.NET), and the ui (AngularJS).

Just after my year mark, I was promoted to manager over a team that I would then help create, develop, and grow; creating a customer facing iOS and Android application to provide Access Control via Bluetooth technology to many of our facilities gates, and units.

How would you describe the work environment?

Extra Space Storage has a work environment that is friendly, peaceful, fun, and inspiring. You have a voice here.

What excites you the most about the future at Extra Space Storage?

We have multiple facets in the IT department all coming to fruition this year. It is a VERY exciting time to be part of this.
