Job Summary
The Installer/Maintenance Technician assists in construction, installation, and maintenance projects; including carpentry, masonry, glazier, metal installation, painting, and other tasks. They are responsible for ensuring their work areas are cleaned and maintenance issues are addressed timely. Obtains parts, supplies, and equipment from warehouse or storerooms when necessary. Records maintenance and repair work performed. Performs other work as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities
• General maintenance of rooms and units
• Construction, reconfiguration, and removal of units. This includes preparation for new sites and removal of decommissioned units
• Installation, removal, and maintenance of other Bargold equipment
• Loading, unloading, and delivery of building materials
• Respond to and address emergency maintenance issues
• Interact with customers, building representatives, internal depts and vendors as needed
• Others duties as assigned

Qualifications
• High school diploma or its equivalent preferred
• Previous construction experience 2+ years preferred
• Fluency in Spanish preferred

Competencies
• General knowledge of construction and of building and equipment maintenance
• Experience with power tools and safety equipment
• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans
• Work within OSHA guidelines and ensure a safe work environment

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Performs sedentary work in an office environment with limited lifting (less than 10 pounds) or walking required. Close visual acuity required to perform work at computer terminal. No exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Requires repetitive typing motion, talking, hearing, grasping and feeling.
