Extra Space is currently hiring for a Sr. FP&A Analyst at our corporate office located in Salt Lake City, UT. The Sr. Analyst will design, develop, implement, maintain and support critical business reports based on data stored in multiple business applications within the company. In addition, the Sr. Analyst will work with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze and document reporting requirements to meet business needs. The Analyst is expected to translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Data collection and processing, analysis and reporting related to key business processes. 

  • Develop and design reports using SQL, SSRS, Power BI, or other reporting tools

  • Participate with cross-functional teams to ensure regular and accurate reporting

  • Ability to work on and negotiate multiple projects simultaneously

  • Attend client and project meetings as necessary

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal/communication skills and the ability to manage client expectations

  • Carry excellent organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines with multiple tasking

Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree (mathematics, statistics, finance, economics or business information systems preferred) from a four-year college or university; and/or a combination of education and relevant work experience required. The incumbent carries

  • Four+ years of technical experience in BI Reporting / Visualizations and SSRS

  • Proven SQL and Query writing skills

  • Experience with Analysis Services, SSRS, or Power BI
