Job Summary
Generate a pipeline of new sales leads through a variety of measures, including but not limited to, door-to-door, cold calling, tradeshows, events/outings, and others. Oversee the daily sales activities pertaining to building contracts, meeting with major clients, writing sales reports, designing effective sales strategies, and marketing company products and services. To include the initial review of location, layout, contract, and revenue analysis of new proposals as well as modifications to existing contracts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain key customer relationships.
- Manage sales teams and maintain sales operations
- Recruiting and hiring sales staff and developing training programs.
- Set quarterly and annual sales goals
- Motivate the sales teams to achieve their goals
- Outline and manage sales budgets
- Monitoring market and competitor products and activities
- Provide reporting of sales/leads activity
- Review customer activity, anticipate consumer needs and improve customer satisfaction
- Outline and manage marketing and client relationship programs including publications, tradeshows, and events/outings
- Coordinate construction design and installation process
- Coordinate ongoing maintenance program in conjunction with building needs and owner expectations
- Negotiate lease terms with current and new owners
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a sales leadership position.
- In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques.
- Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competitive products, and the market.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
