UX/UI Design Manager (Remote)

Responsibilities:
Enhance user experience by creating seamless navigation through various digital programs and products within the company
Understand product specifications and user psychology
Manage and mentor junior designers about UX/UI design processes
Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs
Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
Manage concept and usability testing and gather feedback
Understand and create compatible UI designs with UX wireframes in accordance with brand guidelines
Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers
Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends
Build storyboards process flows, and sitemaps to conceptualize designs to accurately convey project plans to clients and management
Collaborate with creative project manager and team for reporting, team assignments, status and updates
Creative development
UX strategy
Collaborate in other design areas when needed or willed to explore
Qualifications:
3-5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX/UI design for web and mobile/app design (native Android/iOS app)
Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
Strong portfolio of design projects
Background in project management and research
Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
Proficient in design software (e.g. Figma, Balsamiq, InVision, Zeplin)
BS in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and others
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces for clients
Experience with coding and ability to troubleshoot using HTML, CSS, Java Script and comparable languages is a plus
Continued education and research into UX/UI trends and current design strategy and technologies
Professional written and interpersonal skills when communicating with customers and clients
Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
Account for challenges using problem-solving skills and seek to optimize data for the best possible outcome
Experience creating storyboards and website mapping
Understanding of Apple’s human interface design guidelines, Android design and other mobile platform designs, including Google’s material design.
