Job Description

The Accounting Department is seeking an assistant to support the administrative functions of a large department.

***Part Time and Full Time available.***

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manages department calendar and independently schedules appointments
  • Processes incoming mail for various groups with the Accounting Department
  • Coordinates activities, events, and meetings for department of 100+
  • Sends monthly reminders and calendars for month-end close
  • Other department support projects as assigned by the management team

Job Specifications

  • Must be organized and highly structured with the ability to juggle a variety of assignments
  • Self-starter who can work independently
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills such as word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook

Education and Experience

  • High school graduate or GED required
  • Minimum one-year experience providing a variety of administrative/business support functions
