Administrative Assistant
Job Description
The Accounting Department is seeking an assistant to support the administrative functions of a large department.
***Part Time and Full Time available.***
Primary Responsibilities
- Manages department calendar and independently schedules appointments
- Processes incoming mail for various groups with the Accounting Department
- Coordinates activities, events, and meetings for department of 100+
- Sends monthly reminders and calendars for month-end close
- Other department support projects as assigned by the management team
Job Specifications
- Must be organized and highly structured with the ability to juggle a variety of assignments
- Self-starter who can work independently
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills such as word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook
Education and Experience
- High school graduate or GED required
- Minimum one-year experience providing a variety of administrative/business support functions
