Job Description

The Development Administrator (DA) is responsible for all of the Development (Asset Strategy) Department’s administrative and systems roles, supporting the department goals and objectives, all associated with value-added real estate development activities in acquisition, redevelopment, and ground-up development. The DA will report to the Development Director, assist the Development Director and Development Vice President, and provide further administrative, and program systems support to the department.

Specific Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Administrative activities, data entry, document preparation, processing and coordination with internal departments and external parties
  • Department software and systems management primary support and coordination with Construction & Property Development (CPD) Department
  • Provide AS support to Development Program management, implementation, and integration of software systems (e.g., project management tools) specific to real estate development.
  • Ensure that the software systems are configured to meet the needs of department and ensure optimal efficiency and performance.
  • Assist in accounts payable, contract and invoice management, billing processes, project payment tracking, and troubleshooting challenges for immediate resolution.
  • Analyze business processes/requirements and provide support to department SOPs and objectives
  • Create meeting minutes, status reports, progress reports, and project evaluations
  • Assist with project completion announcements and internal department coordination
  • The DA must be willing to travel but will be no more than once a year for training or other related purposes.
  • Obtain development and construction software certifications
  • Obtain State of Utah Notary licensing

Role Requirements:

  • 3-5 Years of experience High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate’s degree or Administrative Certification
  • Ability to effectively present and communicate information to team members, partners, and company management
  • Proficiency in Office Software: Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), or similar productivity tools. Familiarity with Excel and Adobe Photoshop
  • Data Entry Skills: Ability to accurately input, update, and maintain databases and spreadsheets.
  • Basic IT Skills: Competence with office equipment like printers, scanners, and fax machines, as well as troubleshooting minor technical issues.
  • Experience with writing and analyzing business and system requirement documents, that convey complex business analysis and technology solutions
  • Familiarity with information systems, software systems, and accounting practices.
