Communications Coordinator
Job Description
The Communications Coordinator works as part of the Corporate Communications team to disseminate company information internally and externally.
Please note: This position is fully in-office and is based in Salt Lake City, UT.
Primary Responsibilities
- Engages across the organization to support key priorities and drive company messaging
- Collaborates on creation of press releases, media alerts, newsletters, website content, memos or other communication collateral
- Pursues media opportunities on behalf of the company
- Creates content for internal intranet communications, editorial calendars, and strategy
- Supports communications team administrative work such as website analytics, distribution and media list upkeep, and inbox management
- Supports the management of the internal company store
- Aids in additional company projects including surveys, meetings, and events
Job Specifications
- Able to practice discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in PR, Journalism, Communications, or related field
- 1 year of experience
