The Social Media Specialist represents the entire company and brand across several social media platforms and assists with managing and executing all social efforts. These social efforts include raising brand awareness, engaging with online audiences, referring website traffic, recruiting top talent, generating new leads, and converting potential customers. The Social Media Specialist is a highly motivated, creative individual who is passionate about teamwork and company success.
Executes the social media strategy and develops relevant content for each platform, that is: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn
Builds monthly content calendars in collaboration with internal teams to maintain appropriate brand messaging across online platforms
Schedules content for publishing through social media management tool
Monitors online conversations and brand sentiment through social listening
Engages with people and organizations to create personalized connections to the brand
Identifies new opportunities and researches latest trends to enhance online presence
Designs social assets or works with in-house designer to complete assets for social posts
Encourages employees to share company content on social media as brand advocates
Measures and analyzes organic social media key performance data each month
Compiles reports and presents findings to marketing management each quarter
Excellent organization and time management skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of branding principles and adherence
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
Knowledge of social media best practices, trends, and management tools
Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram/Threads, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, etc.
Experience working with and managing a monthly budget
Understanding of data analysis using Excel, Power BI, and Google Analytics
Ability to work with other teams, internal/external clients, and vendors
Demonstrable creativity and ability to communicate ideas
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar design tool (preferred)
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in marketing or a related field
3+ years social media marketing experience
