Third Party Management Analyst
Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, yearly reporting on property and joint venture performance
Research and provide correspondence to partner inquiries regarding property level performance, asset condition and any ad-hoc requests. Respond to inquiries via phone, e-mail, or internal systems to support partners and internal groups
Lead or participate with any special finance self-storage projects
Manage Off Budget Requests correspondence between partner and internal groups. Work with external vendors (as needed) with any capital projects.
Assist with budgeting process of self-storage properties - creation, revision, and presentation
Prepare value-add analysis for sites
Support Director and/or Asset Management team with travel and partner coordination
Travel to different markets for site visits and evaluation, partner meetings, field discussions and trade shows
Job Specifications
Strong analytical skills including financial modeling in Excel
Strong knowledge and skill set for a variety of computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong organization skills
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or a related discipline required
Two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to work well with strict deadlines
Proven ability to build relationships at all levels within assigned area
A creative approach to problem solving, with a humble, team oriented and optimistic attitude
Ability to effectively translate complex information into clear and effective messages
Communicates clearly and effectively with both internal and external associates
Strong verbal and written presentation skills and the acumen to communicate complex ideas in a simple way and to tailor key messages and presentation style to multiple audiences
Goal-oriented and possesses the ability to prioritize on a consistent basis in an ever-changing environment
