Treasury Finance Manager
Job Description
We are currently hiring for a Treasury Finance Manager at our corporate offices located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Extra Space Treasury Function is undergoing a transformation to enhance our culture of Teamwork and Excellence as we safeguard the Company’s assets and liquidity. This person is responsible for the evaluation and mitigation of risks encountered across the Treasury function and requires experience including data analysis, process implementation and administration, and systems design and integration.
The position is suitable for someone with a solid corporate accounting, finance, banking, or project management background. While knowledge of corporate treasury function is helpful, it is not required. For candidates with robust experience in one or more of the core competencies, we are prepared to closely collaborate to fill experience gaps by providing a variety of hands-on coaching and training. The work is mentally challenging, complex, and educational. The role also participates other aspects of the company’s treasury group, including identifying and implementing new processes and technologies. The incumbent will have the opportunity to learn about corporate finance and participate in the growth of a successful company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review loan documents for business terms and accuracy and assist in debt compliance reporting.
Help coordinate over $1.4 billion of revolving line of credit capacity and administer approximately $5.5 billion in unsecured term debt.
Oversee and management Treasury projects while managing competing priorities and the needs of a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Pursue credit card processing cost savings or risk reduction opportunities in conjunction with the management of the overall merchant processor relationship.
Develop processes and execute technology enhancements to facilitate efficiency and risk mitigation.
Work cross-functionally and with bankers to achieve long term Company objectives.
Perform periodic control reviews and health checks of bank services.
Assist in building the strategy and roadmap for key Treasury initiatives.
Assist in other financial analysis projects.
Assist in identifying and implementing new processes and technologies.
Education and/or Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; and/or a combination of education and relevant work experience required.
ERP database extraction and data analysis experience is helpful.
Excel and financial statement analysis.
Detailed understanding of financial statement components.
Technology and other process implementation.
Some experience in accounting, FP&A, banking, treasury systems, or corporate finance.
